6-Day Vietnam Tour – Hanoi | Halong Bay | Ninh Binh | Ho Chi Minh City

Experience the best of Vietnam in this 6-day journey through its scenic beauty and rich heritage. Begin in Hanoi, cruising through the stunning Halong Bay on a traditional junk boat surrounded by limestone cliffs. Continue with a half-day Hanoi city tour, exploring landmarks like Ba Dinh Square, One Pillar Pagoda, and the lively Train Street. Visit Trang An in Ninh Binh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its caves and tranquil waterways.

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City to uncover history at the Cu Chi Tunnels, then explore the lush Mekong Delta with its floating villages, fruit orchards, and local workshops. Wrap up with a city tour visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, and People’s Committee Hall, capturing Vietnam’s charm, culture, and resilience.

Itinerary

Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – HALONG ON CRUISE
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Hanoi to Ha Long bay with approximate 4 hours driving. Upon arrival at Ha Long, we will board our junk boat for a delicious seafood lunch while our Junk is cruising around hundreds of wonderful limestone formations arising from emerald green water. After lunch, cruise through the magnificent bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations and the crystal clear water. Later explore some of the small islets and relax on a white sandy beach before returning to the ship before dinner.

Start the day with coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries served in the dining room. For those interested, it will be followed by a 30-minute instruction in tai chi on the sundeck. This morning we continue to cruise around the bay to find more secluded areas to either swim or kayak in. Brunch is served. After brunch, return to the main harbor and transfer back to Hanoi.

8h30: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 120 km.
10h30 : Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax
11h45: Take rest
13h00: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as The world Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has the wonderful tunnel cave system so that Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for New Version of Kong in 2016 – “ Skull Island “. Boat trip to visit Trang An to see the amazing beauty of this landscape with many caves such as : Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dack cave), Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine), green river and natural view.
16h30 – 17h00 : Get on the Bus to return to Hanoi
19h30 : Arrive to Hanoi and get drop off at the Hotel. The trip end !

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to HCMC. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Int
Airport, transfer to your hotel.
Hotel check in time: 14:00. Early check in is not included
Afternoon, depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. Arrive at Cu Chi tunnels, our tour guide will give you
an overview introduction to Cu Chi and its legendary history. A documentary film about the
tunnels will explain the tunnel's histories and how fierce the war was in the area. You will
be guided to the tunnels system, including the weapon factory, hospitals, and kitchens, and
crawl under the tunnels…..
After that, you can try delicious manioc, the leading food for guerilla warriors in Cu Chi
during the war. You can also can try to fire off an AK47 or MK16 or machine guns at the
nearby shooting range (own expense). Return to HCMC.

07:30: Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang
pagoda which sated back to the late 19 th century. Then boarding the sampan and
cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn,
Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy
tropical fruits. Visit the fruit plantation.
Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of
the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and
coconut candy workshop.
17:30: Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End trip.

After breakfast, enjoy a half day city tour: visit The Hundreds Years Red Cathedral is one
of the oldest churches and the top famous attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, was built in 1877
this is Saigon’s architectural treasures with materials from France. Next visit Old Post
Office was built in year 1886–1891 by renowned French architect Gustave Eiffel, of Eiffel
Tower fame, the vaulted roof and arched windows lend a classic look reminiscent of
European Railway stations and visit People’s Committee Hall , it is beautiful French
Colonial architecture and sunny cream-and-yellow hue, make it a tourist favorite and a

symbol of Saigon, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Ho Chi Minh Opera House
passby.
Afternoon, transfer to airport for flight home!
