Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Auckland
- Arrive at Auckland Airport.
- Meet your driver/guide and transfer to hotel.
- Afternoon sightseeing:
- Sky Tower – panoramic city views
- Auckland Domain & Wintergardens
- Viaduct Harbour – dinner by the waterfront
- Overnight stay at Auckland
Day 2: Auckland → Rotorua (Approx. 3 hrs drive)
- After breakfast, drive to Rotorua, famous for geothermal activity.
- Check-in at hotel.
- Afternoon sightseeing:
- Te Puia Geothermal Park – geysers, mud pools, Maori cultural show
- Rotorua Lake & Government Gardens
- Optional: Polynesian Spa for relaxation
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Rotorua
Day 3: Rotorua → Hobbiton → Queenstown (Flight from Rotorua / Auckland)
- Morning: Hobbiton Movie Set Tour (Matamata)
- Afternoon: Fly to Queenstown (via Auckland or direct)
- Check-in at hotel and explore:
- Lake Wakatipu waterfront
- Skyline Gondola & Luge for sunset views
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Queenstown
Day 4: Queenstown Adventure
- Full-day adventure activities:
- Shotover Jet / Kawarau Bungy – optional thrill activities
- Arrowtown – charming historic gold-mining village
- Optional: Wine tour in Gibbston Valley
- Evening free for leisure or lakeside dining
- Overnight stay at Queenstown
Day 5: Milford Sound / Fiordland Day Trip
- Early morning: Milford Sound day cruise – scenic fjords, waterfalls, and wildlife
- Return to Queenstown in evening
- Optional evening stroll along Lake Wakatipu
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Queenstown
Day 6: Departure from Queenstown / Auckland
- After breakfast, transfer to Queenstown Airport for onward flight.
- Connect via Auckland for international departure if required.
