Visit sacred temples of Dwarka and Somnath, explore colonial charm in Diu, experience wildlife at Gir National Park, and discover Ahmedabad’s rich heritage — a perfect blend of devotion, history, and adventure.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Ahmedabad – Local Sightseeing
- Arrive at Ahmedabad Airport / Railway Station, meet & greet by driver.
- Check-in at hotel and freshen up.
- Explore the heritage capital of Gujarat:
- Sabarmati Ashram (Gandhi Ashram)
- Adalaj Stepwell
- Sidi Saiyyed Mosque (famous for stone lattice work)
- Hutheesing Jain Temple
- Kankaria Lake (optional evening visit)
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Ahmedabad
Day 2: Ahmedabad → Dwarka (440 km / 7–8 hrs)
- After early breakfast, drive to Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites.
- En route visit Jamnagar:
- Lakhota Lake & Palace
- Bala Hanuman Temple (known for continuous Ram Dhun since 1964)
- On arrival in Dwarka, check in at hotel.
- In the evening, visit Dwarkadhish Temple for Aarti (Darshan).
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Dwarka
Day 3: Dwarka Sightseeing → Porbandar → Somnath (230 km / 5 hrs)
- After breakfast, explore Dwarka:
- Bet Dwarka (by ferry ride)
- Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple
- Gopi Talav, Rukmini Temple
- Later drive to Somnath via Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi.
- Visit Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple in Porbandar.
- Arrive in Somnath by evening.
- Attend Somnath Temple Aarti and Sound & Light Show (optional).
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Somnath
Day 4: Somnath → Diu (90 km / 2 hrs)
- After breakfast, drive to Diu, a serene coastal town with Portuguese charm.
- Check-in at hotel and later visit:
- Diu Fort
- St. Paul’s Church
- Naida Caves
- Nagoa Beach
- Evening leisure at the beach.
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Diu
Day 5: Diu → Sasan Gir → Ahmedabad (via Junagadh)
- After breakfast, proceed to Sasan Gir National Park (70 km / 2 hrs) – home of the Asiatic Lion.
- Enjoy Jeep Safari (early morning or afternoon, pre-booking recommended).
- Later drive back to Ahmedabad (approx. 7 hrs via Junagadh / Rajkot).
- Check-in and relax at the hotel.
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Ahmedabad
Day 6: Departure from Ahmedabad
After breakfast, transfer to Ahmedabad Airport / Railway Station for your return journey with wonderful memories of Gujarat.
